• Terroir is the gene and soul of the wine. It is defined by the climate, the soils and the location.

  • In Margaux Appellation, the terroir is:

    • Gravelly soil, excellent natural drainage due to higher latitude
    • Relatively humid climate (close to Atlantic Ocean & Gironde River),
    • Moderate amount of rain, fairly mild winter, regulated temperature in the summer

    Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot.

  • We have a soil of deep pyrenean gravel.

  • 60% Cabernet Sauvignon 

    20% Merlot 

    15% Cabernet Franc 

    5% Petit Verdot
